
Role: Head Strategic Data Partnerships
Location: India (Pune/Flexible)
Reporting to: Chief Business Officer / Chief Product Officer
About the Role
MarketsandMarkets is building next-generation AI platforms - GrowthIQ (Strategic Intelligence Copilot) and SalesPlay (Revenue Intelligence Platform) - to transform how enterprises identify growth opportunities, understand markets, and activate accounts.
To power these platforms, we are building a global ecosystem of proprietary data partnerships across industries such as healthcare, chemicals, technology, industrials, energy, and financial services.
We are looking for a senior, commercially sharp leader to build and scale this ecosystem from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute data partnership strategy across global markets
- Identify and onboard high-value data providers (clinical, patents, funding, supply chain, etc.)
- Lead end-to-end partnerships: outreach, structuring, and negotiations
- Drive commercial models: data licensing, API partnerships, revenue share
- Collaborate with Product & Tech teams for seamless data integration
- Build and scale long-term strategic alliances
What Were Looking For
- 10 to 18 years of experience in strategic partnerships / business development / ecosystem building
- Strong background in data platforms, SaaS, analytics, or information services
- Proven experience in data licensing, API partnerships, and complex enterprise negotiations
- Strong understanding of data as a strategic asset
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product and tech teams
