Marketing Manager - SEO and Digital Strategy
Job Description:
- Waytogo Consultants Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager with a specialization in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to lead our marketing efforts.
- Based in Kolkata with 2-8 years of relevant experience, this role is a key leadership position responsible for developing and executing strategic, data-driven marketing campaigns to significantly enhance brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and achieve aggressive business goals.
- The Manager will oversee the entire digital marketing ecosystem while ensuring SEO best practices are technically integrated into all content and web strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing and Planning: Develop, implement, and rigorously manage a comprehensive annual marketing plan that is meticulously aligned with the company's strategic business and revenue objectives.
- SEO and Digital Channel Oversight: Oversee the technical implementation and optimization of all digital marketing channels, with a specialized focus on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to maximize organic visibility and traffic quality.
- Manage SEM (Search Engine Marketing) campaigns, ensuring optimal budget allocation and high Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
- Direct strategies for Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Email Marketing, ensuring channel synergy and consistent brand voice.
- Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis (including SEO domain authority, keyword ranking, and content strategy analysis) to proactively identify market opportunities and emerging threats, informing campaign direction.
- Financial Control and ROI Measurement: Manage the overall marketing budget, controlling expenditures and rigorously tracking the Return On Investment (ROI) for all marketing initiatives to ensure profitability and resource efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Performance Optimization: Lead the analysis of comprehensive marketing data and metrics using advanced analytics platforms.
- Translate performance metrics into actionable insights to continuously measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies across all channels.
- Agency and Vendor Management: Manage and collaborate effectively with external partners, including creative agencies or freelancers, for the production of high-quality design, multimedia, and technical content.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and innovation to elevate team performance and output.
- Public Relations and Influence: Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with key media outlets and industry influencers to maximize brand exposure and credibility.
- Executive Reporting and Trends: Develop and present detailed, high-level marketing performance reports, strategic recommendations, and budget proposals to the leadership team.
- Stay current with the latest marketing trends, emerging technologies ( AI in marketing), and best practices to ensure continuous innovation.
Required Skills:
- 2-8 Years of proven experience in marketing management, with a strong background in developing and executing strategic campaigns.
- Specialized knowledge and practical experience in SEO (Technical, On-Page, and Off-Page) principles and tools ( Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Demonstrated expertise in managing the full digital marketing mix, including SEM (PPC), Content Marketing, and Email/Social Media.
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in budget management, ROI tracking, and using analytics platforms ( Google Analytics) to drive optimization.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of marketing professionals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for executive reporting and managing external agency/media relationships.
- Ability to conduct detailed Competitor and Market Analysis to formulate strategic responses.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the consulting, B2B services, or professional services industry.
- Certification in Google Analytics and/or Google Ads.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Technical understanding of website architecture and its impact on SEO performance
