Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager to plan, execute, and optimize paid acquisition and growth campaigns across digital channels. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution across Google, Meta, Amazon and platform-specific ad products, and will own ROI, attribution, and conversion improvement initiatives for our retail/apparel brand.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and own the performance marketing strategy across paid search, display, social (Meta, Instagram), and marketplace advertising (Amazon).

- Plan and manage monthly/quarterly paid media budgets, optimize bids and budgets to maximize ROI and CAC targets.

- Build, execute and iterate campaigns (search, display, shopping, dynamic retargeting, prospecting and remarketing).

- Manage Shopify storefront marketing integrations, product feed optimization, and onsite merchandising support for paid campaigns.

- Implement and maintain analytics & tracking: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and platform pixels to ensure accurate attribution and conversion tracking.

- Design and run A/B and multivariate tests across ad creatives, landing pages, offers, and UX flows to improve conversion rates.

- Set up, monitor and report on KPIs: ROAS, CAC, LTV:CAC, conversion rate, average order value (AOV), retention metrics, and incrementality.

- Lead marketing automation and lifecycle campaigns (email, push, SMS) in coordination with CRM to improve retention and repeat purchase rates.

- Conduct competitor analysis, channel opportunity assessments, and identify scale-up opportunities.

- Collaborate with creative, product, merchandising, and analytics teams to ensure consistent messaging, landing page relevance, and measurement accuracy.

- Drive continuous improvements to UI/UX on landing pages and product pages to lift on-site conversion.

- Provide weekly/monthly performance reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.

Must-Have Skills & Tools:

- Paid Media: Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display), Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), Amazon Ads.

- Analytics & Tagging: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console.

- Ecommerce Platforms: Experience managing campaigns with Shopify (product feed, landing pages, checkout funnel).

- Testing & CRO: A/B testing frameworks, heatmaps, session recording tools (e.g., Hotjar/FullStory).

- Marketing Automation / CRM: Experience with email/SMS platforms and building lifecycle campaigns.

- Strong analytical skills comfortable with ROI modeling, cohort analysis, and attribution.

- Good grasp of bid strategies, audience segmentation, dynamic retargeting, and creative testing.

Good-to-Have:

- Experience with programmatic/display platforms, DV360 or similar.

- Familiarity with SQL or advanced spreadsheet modeling for deeper analysis.

- Exposure to advanced attribution modeling and incrementality testing.

- Experience in scaling paid channels for fast-growing ecommerce brands.

KPIs / Success Metrics:

- Target ROAS and CAC metrics met or improved quarter-over-quarter.

- Increase in conversion rate (CVR) and average order value (AOV).

- Improved retention / repeat purchase rates via lifecycle campaigns.

- Efficient budget utilization and scalable channel growth.

- Successful A/B tests with measurable lift in conversion or revenue.

Education & Experience:

- 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, preferably in retail / ecommerce / apparel.

- Bachelors degree; MBA or relevant marketing certifications preferred.
