- The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all customer-facing functions related to Indian Railways.

- This includes pre-tendering activities, tender participation, documentation, work monitoring, and billing.

- The role entails complete ownership of assigned products and regions and requires effective coordination with both internal teams and external railway stakeholders to ensure timely execution and business growth.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

- Act as the key external representative of the company for assigned products or regions.

- Serve as the first point of contact for Indian Railways officials regarding product& service interactions.

- Manage all activities related to tender identification, pre-tender preparation, submission, and post-tender follow-ups.

- Coordinate order procurement and field activities to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Monitor progress and oversee billing activities in alignment with railway contract norms.

- Maintain documentation for tenders, work execution, and billing as per Works and Stores procedures.

- Interact with higher management to strategize order procurement and expand product footprint within Indian Railways.

- Engage directly and maintain working relationships with railway officials on a continuous basis for product approvals, tender follow ups, work execution and billing.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong working knowledge of Indian Railways' Works and Stores contract processes.

- Basic technical understanding of electronic products used in railway operations.

- Prior experience in Marketing & Sales of Electronic Products a plus.

- Proven ability to interact and build rapport with Railway officials.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional Indian languages is preferred.

- Proficiency in documentation tools including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Ability to use tools to independently track & follow up on tenders, work execution and billing.

- Ability to oversee & train Marketing Associates as required by the organization.

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent (MBA is a plus).

- Minimum 7 years experience in a customer-facing, marketing, or project execution role.

- Minimum 5 years of that should be within Indian Railways.
