Role Overview:
We are looking for a Community Marketing Lead to build and scale localized, community-first brand experiences across fitness, wellness, and lifestyle ecosystems in India. This role sits at the intersection of community building, retail marketing, partnerships, and brand storytelling, with a strong on-ground and cultural lens.
The ideal candidate is deeply connected to the fitness and wellness community, understands how communities influence brand love, and can translate global brand ethos into locally relevant, high-impact experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Community & Brand Experience Strategy
- Design and execute community-led marketing programs across fitness, wellness, and lifestyle segments.
- Build strong relationships with gyms, studios, trainers, athletes, wellness coaches, and fitness collectives.
- Create localized initiatives that drive brand affinity, loyalty, and advocacy.
Store Launches & Market Entry
- Lead 360 marketing planning and execution for new store launches and city entries.
- Plan community workouts, launch events, pop-ups, and collaborations to drive footfall and awareness.
- Partner closely with retail teams to ensure seamless online-to-offline brand experiences.
Ambassador & Influencer Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage brand ambassadors, athletes, trainers, and influencers.
- Build long-term, authentic partnerships aligned with brand values.
- Track performance and impact of ambassador and influencer programs.
Partnerships & Collaborations
- Develop strategic partnerships with fitness studios, wellness brands, events, and communities.
- Co-create experiences, campaigns, and content that resonate with local audiences.
- Strengthen the brands presence within key fitness and lifestyle ecosystems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with global brand teams, retail, digital marketing, PR, and sales teams.
- Align community initiatives with overall brand, marketing, and growth objectives.
- Support customer acquisition and retention through community-driven initiatives.
Key Performance Areas (KRAs):
- Growth and engagement of local fitness and wellness communities
- Successful execution of store launches and market-entry campaigns
- Ambassador and influencer program effectiveness
- Brand awareness, affinity, and community participation metrics
- Footfall and customer acquisition driven by community initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience in marketing within sports, fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands
- Proven experience in community marketing, partnerships, or experiential marketing
- Strong existing network within the fitness and wellness ecosystem
- Hands-on experience working with ambassadors, influencers, and local communities
Good-to-Have
- Experience with international or premium consumer brands
- Exposure to retail-led or omnichannel brand environments
- Background in events, activations, or experiential campaigns
