We are looking for a high-impact, resourceful Marketing Lead to build brand presence and trust among the MSME sector in India.

Your goal is to make company the "default" delivery partner for small businesses using lean, cost-effective strategies.

Scope of the Role:

1. Lean Brand Building

- Develop and execute a brand strategy that prioritizes impact over high-spend ad campaigns.

- Address MSME pain points directly to position as a reliable, MSME-friendly partner.

- Solve the brand duality to ensure clarity and synergy in the Indian market.

2. PR & Earned Media

- Craft compelling narratives for MSME-focused media, industry publications, and community channels.

- Secure measurable PR coverage that boosts credibility and drives inbound interest.

- Act as the primary storyteller for our mission in India.

3. Content & Community

- Produce high-utility content: customer success stories, case studies, and localized "how- to" guides.

- Build and nurture MSME communities to encourage engagement, loyalty, and referrals.

4. Growth & Cross-Functional Support

- Provide the "fuel" for our growth engine: create messaging, creative assets, and sales collateral for performance marketing and partnership teams.

- Ensure brand consistency across onboarding and activation touchpoints.

What Success Looks Like (6-12 Months):

- Organic Growth: A measurable increase in organic leads and branded search traffic.

- Media Presence: Consistent PR mentions in relevant business and MSME media.

- Positioning: Establishing a clear market sentiment:

- Sales Enablement: Delivery of high-converting case studies and content that help the sales team close MSME clients.

Who You Are:

Experience & Capabilities:

- Lean Brand Specialist: You have a track record of building or scaling brands with limited budgets.

- MSME Expert: You understand the nuances of the Indian MSME/SMB market-how they think, who they trust, and where they spend their time.

- PR Savvy: You know how to pitch a story that editors actually want to publish.

- Hands-on Creator: You are comfortable moving from high-level strategy to writing a case study or social post yourself.

Mindset:

- Resourceful: You find creative ways to get "big brand" results on a startup budget.

- Impact-Oriented: You care more about leads and trust than "vanity metrics" or awards.

- Collaborative: You enjoy working with growth, product, and sales teams to ensure the brand supports the bottom line.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years in Marketing, PR, or Brand Management (Startup experience is a massive plus).

- Proven experience adapting global brand messaging to local Indian contexts.

- Portfolio of content or PR campaigns that delivered measurable business results.

- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai.
