Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned marketing leader who can anchor our brand journey with a blend of classic brand-building expertise and modern digital-first thinking. The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketer with a proven track-record of creating, nurturing, and scaling brands from the ground up. With deep roots in brand strategy and consumer insights, this leader will play a critical role in shaping our marketing roadmap, driving integrated campaigns, and ensuring that our brand resonates with consumers while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 812 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably with exposure to legacy organizations renowned for their brand-building rigor.
- Strong grounding in core brand fundamentals - positioning, consumer insights, brand architecture, communication strategy - and proven application in real-world business scenarios.
- Balanced exposure to strategic brand development as well as performance-driven digital marketing; must be adept at integrating traditional and new-age channels.
- Strong insights orientation with the ability to mine consumer, market, and cultural trends to inform marketing strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale brands from scratch, taking them from inception to market leadership.
- Industry-agnostic background with the flexibility to understand and internalize our brand ethos and cultural DNA.
- Experience operating in organizations with in-house marketing capabilities will be an advantage.
- Culturally aligned individual who values creativity, collaboration, and consumer-centric thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Consumer Insights-
- Define and evolve the brand strategy, positioning, and architecture, ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of cultural, market, and category trends to develop insight-driven marketing narratives.
- Translate brand vision into differentiated storytelling that builds salience and consumer love.
Integrated Marketing & Campaigns-
- Conceptualize and oversee integrated 360 campaigns, blending traditional brand-building with performance-led initiatives.
- Ensure seamless integration between offline and online communications to drive both emotional connect and business conversions.
- Lead creative development, manage agency relationships, and ensure all creative assets are on-brand.
Digital & Performance Marketing-
- Oversee digital strategy and media planning, ensuring optimal ROI across performance channels - paid media, search, social, and affiliates.
- Build synergies between brand-building and performance marketing to deliver measurable impact without compromising long-term brand equity.
- Monitor digital metrics and consumer engagement patterns to optimize content and campaigns in real time.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Building-
- Forge strategic brand partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations that expand reach and amplify brand presence.
- Build an ecosystem of influencers, content creators, and external partners aligned to our brand ethos.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration-
- Lead a multi-disciplinary in-house team spanning brand, social media, performance marketing, partnerships, content, events, and media planning.
- Ensure that the team functions in sync, breaking silos and delivering consistent consumer messaging across channels.
- Be a mentor and coach to team members, investing in capability building and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, category, and sales to ensure marketing priorities are aligned with business strategy.
Team Model-
- Direct reports will include leads across social, media, brand, advertising, partnerships, events, and strategy.
- The role will manage end-to-end in-house marketing capabilities, including core brand work, social content, performance marketing execution, and partnership development.
- Ability to engage with external agencies selectively when needed, while maintaining strong in-house capability and ownership.
