An early stage, well funded AI start up is looking for a marketing leader who will work closely with the company's leadership to drive visibility and sales as you build a new category.
Responsibilities:
- Positioning and category narrative: Define the brand positioning and category narrative
- Sales enablement: create the marketing collateral to empower sales
- The website: A buyer should understand the platform and choose between "They Run" and "We Run" within two scrolls.
- Instrumentation: Measure and test everything that makes our brand and audience move.
- Reach: Grow our website audience and brand presence on relevant platforms.
- Analyst relations: Run the Gartner / Forrester / Everest / HFS program: target the named analysts covering finance transformation, prep the briefings the CEO and CTO deliver, and turn mentions into deal-cycle credibility.
- Content Engine: Sharp LinkedIn POVs as many times as relevant, newsletter and a long-form piece per month, drafted for the CEOs edit.
- Proof assets: Case studies with hard numbers, launch narratives, product videos, analyst briefing materials.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in B2B marketing, the majority in product marketing.
- You have built the product marketing function from scratch at fast-growing companies, not inherited one; you can name what you set up, what worked, and what you would do differently.
- You can run offline marketing campaigns like events, community tie-ups etc.
- You have run analyst relations before; you have briefed Gartner, Forrester, or their peers directly and can point to inclusions, mentions, or inquiry traction that came from it.
- A US-focused mindset: You have marketed to US buyers and understand how they think
- An exceptional writer in American English
- AI-native: LLMs and generation tools are your daily stack, and your output volume at high quality shows it.
