Marketing Development Specialist - PLS Retail

Hiring: MDS - PLS Retail (Professional Lighting Solutions)

Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

Role Overview:

We are looking for an MDS - PLS Retail professional to join our Professional Lighting Solutions (PLS) division in Vijayawada.

This role focuses on driving retail sales, building strong dealer networks, engaging influencers, and ensuring consistent revenue growth through our premium lighting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage dealer and retail channel partners for Professional Lighting Solutions.

- Build strong relationships with electrical contractors, architects, interior designers, and other key influencers.

- Conduct regular site visits, product demos, and training sessions for channel partners.

- Drive order bookings, achieve revenue targets, and ensure timely collections.

- Execute local promotional events and campaigns to increase brand visibility.

- Onboard new dealers and expand coverage in the assigned territory.

- Provide market intelligence on competitors and pricing trends.

- Coordinate with internal teams for stock availability, pricing, and service support.

- Share regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Graduate or Post graduate in sales and marketing

- 5-10 years of experience in retail sales, ideally in lighting, electrical, or building materials.

- Proven track record in dealer/channel development and influencer management.

- Strong local network with retailers, contractors, and architects in Andhra Pradesh.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with sales reporting tools.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
