Market Segment Manager - Industrial Sector

A global leader in industrial supply chain solutions is looking for a Market Segment Manager to drive growth across key Indian industrial sectors. The role focuses on segment strategy, customer acquisition, and technical-commercial engagement to expand market penetration and revenue.

Role Highlights:

- Analyze trends, customer needs, and competition across target industrial segments.

- Identify and win new accounts; build long-term relationships with procurement and maintenance leaders.

- Develop and execute segment-wise growth strategies aligned to business goals.

- Prepare technical-commercial proposals, support RFQs/tenders, and negotiate large contracts.

- Partner cross-functionally with Key Account, Technical Sales, and Product teams.

- Represent the organization at trade fairs and industry forums.

Ideal Background:

- Bachelor's in Engineering/Business (MBA preferred).

- Experience in 2+ of these sectors: Shipbuilding, Steel, Aerospace, Packaging, Railways, Electric Vehicles, Engineering Hardware.

- Strong B2B sales acumen, stakeholder management, and market analytics capability.

- Proficiency in CRM and advanced Excel/Power BI.

- Willingness to travel for client engagements.
