Marcellus - Trustee Compliance Officer

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work closely with the Trustee Board of Directors to put in place a reporting framework covering the SEBI Regulations and circulars.

- Interact closely with the AMC counterparts to ensure that Trustees expectations on conduct and compliance are understood and appropriate reports are built

- Partner with the AMC team to ensure that Internal Audits and Certifications as required by the Trustee Board is completed in time bound manner including the coordination of ATRs and closures.

- Work with the Group Compliance & Risk Teams to ensure that group level policies are implemented seamlessly

- Ensure that the Companies Act compliances and corporate governance matters of Trustee Company are taken care of

- Partner with the Risk Team to ensure appropriate reports are prepared and submitted by the AMC to the Trustee Board.

- Interact with SEBI on any matter that requires regulatory engagement

- Be the subject matter expert on SEBI MF Compliance & Companies Act

- Demonstrates leadership and ownership for all tasks at hand

- Demonstrates independence

- Partners with the rest of the Firm and gives assurance on quality of controls and conduct

- Good ability to articulate and reason.

INTERACTIONS

Works independently and with the team; Will interact with Compliance, Finance, Operations, IT, Digital and Investment teams as well as Auditors of AMCs and Truste Co.

MINIMUM & PREFERRED EDUCATION Company Secretary

MINIMUM & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

- Minimum 5 years of experience in handling compliance and/or secretarial matters of an AMC or its Trustee Company where the candidate has exposure to SEBI MF Regulations.

- Experience in handling Board level interactions and engagement is a great value add.
