About the Role

You will be joining a dynamic political consulting team that specializes in delivering innovative, data-driven solutions to address complex campaign challenges. As a Strategy Consultant, you will act as the primary bridge between the central campaign strategy and local execution through on-ground research and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with grassroots leaders and booth-level workers to drive measurable voter impact.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Cultivate strong relationships with MLAs, political leaders, party workers, and booth-level functionaries

- Serve as a trusted advisor to local leadership, ensuring alignment with overarching campaign objectives

- Coordinate between central strategy teams and regional operatives to maintain consistency in messaging and execution

Research & Analysis:

- Conduct primary interviews with political leaders and community stakeholders to assess ground realities

- Experience with Social Media management, Content Management, and narrative building

- Analyze party dynamics, socio-political factors, and economic conditions within the assigned constituency

- Evaluate past election results, voter behavior patterns, and demographic trends to identify opportunities and improvement areas

- Prepare constituency-level intelligence reports and competitive landscape assessments

Campaign Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and implement data-backed campaign plans tailored to local dynamics

- Oversee seamless execution of active campaigns to ensure significant voter impact in targeted areas

- Manage event logistics, public outreach programs, and voter mobilization activities

- Design and track KPIs for campaign milestones and field activity

Reporting & Problem Solving:

- Prepare detailed reports on the political landscape, field insights, and campaign progress

- Identify regional challenges proactively and offer actionable, evidence-based solutions

- Escalate critical issues with recommended interventions to the central strategy team

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Media and communication, Journalism, Political Science, Public Administration, Management, Engineering, or related fields

- 2+ years of experience working for a politician in an election campaign. Proven track record of excellence in handling election campaigns.

- Familiarity with voter data systems, psephological analysis, or GIS-based constituency mapping

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

- Proficiency in MS Office, data visualization tools, and reporting platforms

- Willingness to travel extensively and be stationed in the field for extended periods

Preferred Skills

- Prior exposure to election campaign management or political consulting

- Strong verbal communication in Tamil, ideal to have written skills

- 3-4 years of prior experience in Media, Journalism, Television, Radio Channels, stakeholder management, research, consulting, or campaign roles
