Role Overview:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Sustainability Consultant to act as a strategic bridge between sustainability strategy and shop-floor execution. The role involves driving digital enablement of sustainability metrics, supporting ESG reporting and compliance, and identifying business development opportunities within the manufacturing sector.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in ESG and sustainability with experience in manufacturing operations, IoT-enabled energy optimization, and data-driven sustainability solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of Energy and Carbon Efficiency KPIs.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives for sustainability, including dashboards, analytics, and IoT-enabled optimization.

- Support regulatory compliance, ESG reporting, and audit readiness.

- Conduct process mapping to identify sustainability improvements across manufacturing operations.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, ESG, IT) to translate sustainability data into actionable insights.

- Develop and maintain structured sustainability data management and governance frameworks.

- Build awareness and provide training on sustainability initiatives for manufacturing and sales teams.

- Identify business development opportunities, generate demand, and influence customers to convert opportunities into projects.

- Deploy ESG/sustainability solutions for large manufacturing clients, including circularity, sustainable materials, and green incentive programs.

- Leverage AI/ML models, data lakes, and cloud platforms for advanced sustainability analytics.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Strong expertise in ESG for the manufacturing sector.

- Deep understanding of the GHG Protocol and emissions reporting frameworks.

- Familiarity with sustainability data frameworks and carbon accounting software.

- Experience in manufacturing processes and industrial operations.

- Knowledge of ERP systems, energy management platforms, and IoT applications for sustainability optimization.

- Understanding of renewable energy systems in industrial settings.

- Experience in supply chain traceability, sustainable procurement, and supplier evaluation.

- Strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

- Adaptable to evolving regulations and sustainability standards.

- Prior experience in deploying ESG or sustainability solutions for large manufacturing clients.

Good-to-Have:

- Experience in AI/ML models for sustainability insights.

- Knowledge of product design for circularity or sustainable materials.

- Exposure to green incentive programs and sustainable manufacturing initiatives.
