Manufacturing Operations Consultant - FMCG - Consulting Firm - Contractual

Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting a leading snack manufacturing company in their cost optimisation and process efficiency initiatives. They are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Excellence Consultant with a strong background in the snacking or broader FMCG manufacturing sector.

This role is critical to driving cost-saving opportunities and enhancing manufacturing processes across the clients operations. The consultant will work closely with plant teams, operations leadership, and the consulting project team to identify, design, and implement cost optimisation initiatives that deliver tangible impact to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed diagnostics to identify cost-saving opportunities in production and operations.

- Collaborate with plant managers, operations heads, and client teams to design and implement improvement solutions.

- Drive manufacturing excellence projects ensuring alignment with operational KPIs and business goals.

- Support capability building of client teams to sustain implemented changes.

- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders within the client organisation and consulting team.

Your Background:

- 510 years of experience in manufacturing excellence, process improvement, or operations roles.

- Strong experience in snacking manufacturing preferred; FMCG manufacturing experience required.

- Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings and process optimisation projects.

- On-ground manufacturing plant experience with reputed FMCG brands.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Bachelors degree in engineering, Operations, or related disciplines; relevant certifications (Lean, Six Sigma) a plus.

This is a 12-month (extendable) contractual opportunity based in Gurugram, with some pan-India travel as required.
