Manufacturing Operational Excellence Consultant - MBB Firm - Contractual

We are currently seeking professionals with strong experience in manufacturing operations within automotive and discrete manufacturing environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to end-to-end plant operations with a strong grounding in shop-floor management, manufacturing excellence initiatives, and structured problem-solving. A track record of improving throughput, enhancing productivity, and reducing operational bottlenecks will be highly valued.

Key Requirements :

- 58 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations, ideally in automotive, industrial goods, machinery, aerospace, or discrete manufacturing.

- Proven experience in driving or supporting manufacturing excellence programs such as lean initiatives, throughput improvement, cost/productivity enhancement, or capacity optimization.

- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; ability to apply linear and logical thinking to real-time shop-floor challenges.

- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other structured continuous-improvement methodologies.

- Practical exposure to day-to-day factory operations, production planning, execution, cycle-time reduction and line-balancing.

- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and supply-chain teams.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial or related field).

- Six Sigma or Lean certification is an added advantage.

Location & Mobility:

- Base location: Open - Anywhere in India

- Travel will be required depending on project duration and client needs.
