- The role focuses on ensuring smooth operations, high product quality, cost efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations and ensure targets are met.
- Maintain product quality and ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and internal standards.
- Plan production based on demand and coordinate with Supply Chain.
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics like efficiency, wastage, downtime, and output.
- Ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities are well-maintained.
- Implement safety, hygiene, and food safety protocols across the plant.
- Drive process improvements to reduce cost and increase productivity.
- Lead automation and improvement projects wherever required.
- Manage and develop plant teams across Production, Quality, and Maintenance.
- Prepare and manage the yearly manufacturing budget.
- Support commissioning of new lines and expansion projects.
- Coordinate with Quality, R&D, HR, Engineering, and other teams for smooth operations.
Required Experience:
- 15+ years in manufacturing, preferably in FMCG/Food industry.
- Experience in leading large teams and plant operations.
Education - B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Food Technology, or related fields.
