Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end manufacturing and operations for electrical and electronic consumer appliances, ensuring efficient production, quality, and timely delivery.

- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to scale production capacity and support business growth.

- Drive production planning, scheduling, line balancing, and capacity utilization to maximize operational efficiency.

- Establish and monitor key operational KPIs, including productivity, quality, cost, inventory, and delivery performance.

- Oversee sourcing and procurement of components, raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables while ensuring cost optimization and uninterrupted material availability.

- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships across domestic and international markets.

- Lead warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics, dispatch planning, and transportation optimization.

- Implement ERP/MRP-driven planning systems and drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

- Develop robust MIS reports, dashboards, and operational controls to support data-driven decision-making.

- Oversee plant administration, facility management, utilities, maintenance, and infrastructure expansion initiatives.

- Ensure high equipment availability through preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

- Manage labour relations, industrial relations, manpower planning, contract workforce, and statutory compliance.

- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing operations teams while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to achieve business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

- MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

- 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing and operations, with at least 5 years independently leading a manufacturing plant.

- Proven experience in setting up and scaling manufacturing operations, preferably in electrical or electronic consumer appliances.

- Strong expertise in production planning, capacity planning, supply chain management, sourcing, procurement, warehousing, and logistics.

- Experience managing supplier networks across India and international markets is preferred.

- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, or 5S.

- Strong understanding of quality systems, plant operations, industrial relations, statutory compliance, and workforce management.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment with a strong focus on execution and operational excellence.
