Mantra Capital - Compliance Head

Role Overview:

Mantra Capital, a BSE-listed and RBI-regulated NBFC, is looking for an experienced Compliance Head to lead the compliance function and work closely with the Managing Director and Board.

The Compliance Head will own the compliance function end-to-end, ensuring regulatory adherence while building robust compliance systems, SOPs, governance frameworks, and a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate and timely RBI regulatory filings, returns and statutory submissions.

- Own the enterprise Compliance Calendar and regulatory observation closure.

- Oversee Board, Committee, ROC, SEBI LODR and stock-exchange compliance.

- Ensure KYC / CKYC and document-verification process integrity.

- Design and strengthen the AML / PMLA framework, including STR / CTR reporting.

- Monitor CERSAI, security-interest and secured lending compliance.

- Identify regulatory risks and drive timely remediation.

- Act as the key interface with RBI, SEBI, ROC and other regulators.

- Lead RBI inspection readiness and ensure sustainable closure of observations.

- Prepare compliance dashboards and presentations for the MD and Board Audit / Compliance Committee.

- Build, mentor and lead a strong compliance team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 6-12 years of progressive compliance experience in NBFC / BFSI.

- Hands-on experience with RBI regulatory filings.

- Strong knowledge of RBI Master Directions, NBFC regulations and Scale Based Regulation.

- Experience with SEBI LODR, ROC and listed-entity compliance preferred.

- Strong understanding of Companies Act 2013, AML/PMLA, FIU-IND, CKYC and CERSAI.

- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder-management and executive-presence skills.

- High level of integrity, ownership and accountability.
