1. National Supply Planning (o9 APS)
- Own and maintain national supply plans for an assigned SKU portfolio within the ~1,500-SKU basket
- Generate, review, and release planned orders in o9 APS across three planning horizons - weekly tactical, monthly operational, quarterly strategic
- Balance supply across 10 plants, optimising for batch economics, capacity utilisation, and service-level commitments
- Maintain planning master data in o9 - lead times, MOQs, safety stock, sourcing rules, production versions - reviewed on a quarterly or exception-triggered basis
- Identify and act on supply risk positions (stock-out, near-expiry, excess) before they translate into service failures or write-offs
2. Procurement Interface (~135 Active Suppliers)
- Issue firm POs and rolling blanket schedules to API, excipient, and packaging suppliers aligned to the o9 supply plan
- Track supplier delivery adherence; maintain actuals vs. system lead times and escalate deviations with sufficient buffer
- Coordinate safety stock build-up and capacity booking during demand spikes, plant shutdowns, or import-risk periods
- Flag raw material shortages proactively to the procurement team with quantified production-impact timelines
- Provide supply planners' input to supplier performance reviews - delivery OTIF, lead-time consistency, minimum order flexibility
3. Manufacturing Coordination (10 Plants: In-house + Group)
- Issue production work orders and batch schedules to plant planning teams; track execution adherence vs. the approved plan
- Coordinate with plant planners on batch sequencing priorities during capacity constraints or product changeovers
- Manage third-party / loan-licence manufacturers (TLMs) on committed output volumes and delivery schedules
- Escalate capacity shortfalls to the Supply Planning Head with alternative scenarios - batch re-sequencing, site diversion, external buyout
- Ensure plan changes are reflected in o9 within agreed system update timelines to maintain single-source-of-truth integrity
4. Demand Planning Collaboration (S&OP Inputs)
- Receive and absorb the consensus demand plan from the Demand Planning team at each S&OP cycle
- Quantify supply-constrained SKUs and present demand-supply gap analysis with resolution timelines for the Supply Review
- Communicate planned supply shortfalls back to Demand Planning to enable commercial re-prioritisation or alternative product substitution
- Provide accurate inventory-on-hand and in-transit visibility to support demand sensing and short-term forecast adjustments
- Participate in both the Demand Review and Supply Review meetings within the monthly S&OP calendar
5. Distribution Planning Interface
- Collaborate with the Distribution Planning team to align primary dispatch schedules with CFA inventory norms
- Confirm plant-to-CFA dispatch windows and flag supply constraints impacting regional availability in advance
- Enforce FEFO (First Expiry First Out) discipline across all inter-plant transfers and plant-to-CFA dispatches
- Provide forward supply visibility to enable secondary replenishment planning and trade promotions support
