Job Purpose: We are seeking a Supply Planner to optimize inventory management by analyzing consumption data, planning activities, and managing stock turnover. This role acts as a vital link between demand and factories, providing critical inputs to customer service. Responsibilities include end-to-end inventory planning, setting inventory parameters, ensuring adequate replenishment, and supporting internal customer inquiries. Utilizing o9 Planning tool, the Supply Planner will enhance customer support and contribute to the success of our sales and operations by maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing costs. What will be your key responsibilities? - Perform supply planning activities using the o9 supply planning tool. - Maintain accurate master data to ensure successful supply planning within the o9 tool. - Generate requirements and resolve capacity or material constraints to achieve production commitments. - Maintain daily contact with critical suppliers and resolve complex supplier shortages. - Partner with manufacturing facilities, demand teams, and contract manufacturers to optimize customer service, demand fulfillment, and cost efficiency. - Build relationships and collaborate with production plants to ensure correct quantities and product freshness. - Plan for effective inventory management: determine safety stocks, set inventory policies, and minimize write-offs of slow-moving and obsolete inventory. - Define inventory policies based on product segmentation. - Calculate and maintain inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies in planning systems and ERPs. - Coordinate material planning with call-offs to ensure purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations and purchasing teams. - Extract and analyze data from planning tools to support customer requirements and provide timely resolutions. - Work with cross-functional teams to develop new best practices and improve existing ones for delivering planning solutions. - Drive the adoption of planning systems across the supply planning team. Preferred qualifications: - MBA in Supply Chain or Operations from a Tier-1 B School and BE/BTech from a Tier-1 engineering institute. - Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or a similar role within a supply chain or operations environment in the FMCG or Pharma sector. - Proficiency in planning tools such as SAP APO/IBP, o9, Kinaxis, or BlueYonder. - Strong skills in Planning, S&OP, Purchasing, and Inventory Management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Other Details: Location: New Delhi (HQ) - Work from office - Mankind Pharma is one of the top four leading pharmaceuticals companies in India with an employee base of close to 21000 and revenue of approx. $1Bn
