Qualification:

MBA / PGDM in Pharmaceutical Marketing (Tier-1 / Tier-2 preferred)

Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy

Years of Experience:

8 - 15 Years of experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing

Minimum 2 - 3 Years as Senior Product Manager / GPM with Team Handling Experience

Role Purpose:

To lead strategic marketing initiatives, portfolio growth, and lifecycle management for assigned brands. The role will drive brand performance through effective market insights, innovative campaigns, strong field engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Brand Management: Develop short-term and long-term brand strategies aligned with division objectives. Prepare annual marketing plans, budgets, and sales forecasts. Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, competitor tracking, and customer insights. Drive brand positioning in specialty segments to enhance prescription generation.

- Portfolio & Lifecycle Management: Manage existing product portfolio and lead new product launches. Evaluate pipeline opportunities and recommend portfolio expansion strategies. Monitor product performance and implement corrective strategies where required. Optimize product mix and profitability.

- Marketing & Campaign Execution: Design and execute promotional campaigns across multiple channels (field, digital, KOL engagement, CMEs). Develop high-quality scientific promotional materials for healthcare professionals. Lead brand communication strategies including positioning, messaging, and differentiation. Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical marketing standards.

- Field Force Effectiveness: Closely work with Sales teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies. Conduct field visits to gather insights and provide coaching. Organize cycle meetings, training sessions, and product briefings. Monitor sales force feedback and market response.

- Stakeholder & KOL Management: Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), specialists, and healthcare institutions. Plan and execute scientific events, conferences, and advisory board meetings. Collaborate with Medical Affairs for clinical communication and evidence generation.

- Market Intelligence & Analytics: Analyze prescription trends, market share, competitor activities, and customer behavior. Use data analytics to drive decision-making and ROI optimization. Track brand KPIs and campaign effectiveness.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Training teams. Ensure timely product availability and effective demand planning. Coordinate with external agencies and vendors.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor Product Managers / Assistant Product Managers. Build a high-performance marketing team culture. Provide guidance on brand strategy, execution, and career development.
