Position: General Manager - Marketing

Category: Sexual Wellness (Manforce & Epic)

Location: Delhi, Corporate Office

Reports to: Vice President - Sales & Marketing

Team Handling: 2 Direct Reportees

Role Overview:

The General Manager - Marketing will lead brand strategy, category growth, and innovation for the Sexual Wellness portfolio. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, deep category insight, and strong execution capabilities to drive awareness, penetration, and market share in a sensitive yet rapidly growing consumer segment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Brand & Category Management

- Define and execute the long-term category vision and annual marketing plans for the Sexual Wellness portfolio (e.g., condoms, lubricants, sexual health supplements, intimate hygiene).

- Build consumer-centric brand strategies that address awareness, taboo barriers, and category education.

- Analyze market trends, competition, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities.

2. Marketing & Communication

- Develop integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital, ensuring regulatory compliance and cultural sensitivity.

- Lead content and influencer marketing strategies to normalize conversations around sexual wellness.

- Partner with creative and media agencies to deliver impactful, high-ROI campaigns.

3. Innovation & New Product Development

- Identify unmet consumer needs and drive NPD (New Product Development) from concept to launch.

- Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and compliant product rollouts.

4. Consumer Insights & Research

- Leverage qualitative and quantitative research to understand evolving consumer attitudes towards sexual wellness.

- Implement programs to improve brand love, trust, and category acceptance.

5. Channel & E-commerce Strategy

- Drive omnichannel growth, including modern trade, general trade, pharmacies, and e-commerce/D2C platforms.

- Partner with sales and trade marketing to design in-store activation and visibility programs.

6. Leadership & Team Development

- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team.

- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and ethical marketing practices.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Proven experience in FMCG/Consumer Healthcare marketing, preferably in personal care, intimate care, or lifestyle categories.

- Strong understanding of consumer behavior in taboo/sensitive categories.

- Expertise in digital marketing, influencer collaborations, and content-led growth.

- Ability to balance creativity with compliance, given regulatory and cultural sensitivities.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

- MBA in Marketing from a reputed institute.

- 10 - 15 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a category/brand leadership role.

- Exposure to sexual wellness, OTC, personal care, healthcare, or related sectors preferred
