Role Overview:
This exciting opportunity for a BD-In Licensing professional based in Dubai will be instrumental\ in identifying, evaluating, and executing in-licensing deals for Mankind Pharma across the MENA region. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing, and legal to assess the commercial viability and strategic fit of potential licensing opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding Mankind Pharma's product portfolio and market presence through strategic collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential in-licensing opportunities in the MENA region, aligning with Mankind Pharma's strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential licensing targets, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and financial modeling.
- Negotiate licensing agreements with potential partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Mankind Pharma.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, regulatory, marketing, legal) to assess the technical, regulatory, and commercial feasibility of in-licensing opportunities.
- Develop and present business cases to senior management for in-licensing opportunities, highlighting potential risks and rewards.
- Manage the in-licensing process from initial screening to deal closure, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the MENA region to identify emerging licensing opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential licensing partners, industry experts, and key opinion leaders.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and negotiate in-licensing deals within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market in the MENA region, including regulatory requirements and competitive landscape.
- Proven ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in business development, licensing, or strategic alliances within the pharmaceutical industry.
