- Investor Services team at M&G India plays a critical role in supporting investment operations by managing and executing key agency processes. The team ensures accurate and timely processing of investor transactions, fee calculations, and data management across multiple fund structures and jurisdictions.


- The Senior Manager - Investor Services team is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of transfer agency operations including Trailer Fees, Prudential Pension Limited (PPL), and UK Offshore processes. This role involves managing a team, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and driving continuous process improvement.


- The Senior Manager will also play a key role in managing high-volume data updates, resolving escalations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations


Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:


The key responsibilities of this role are:


- Perform, Lead and manage daily operations across Trailer Fees, PPL, and UK Offshore processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.


- Supervise and mentor a team of senior analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.


- Responsible for the allocation of workloads amongst the team, ensuring all BAU processes are completed within defined SLA's


- Review and sign off of all reporting prior to final submission to UK & Lux


- Co-ordinate the ownership of Corporate & Direct Application forms. Overseeing- the implementation of updates in line with project requirements.


- Oversee co-ordination of BAU statement processing (M&G & Charities)


- Oversee co-ordination of output & mailing tasks managed by outsourced providers.


- Assist with the resolution of escalated issues & discrepancies as appropriate.


- Ensure on-going update of process documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


- Provide assistance to stakeholders for any ad-hoc inquiries.


- Ensure sufficient regular training is undertaken across the team.


- Responsible for the well-being and development of whole team as required


- Act as a positive role model to ensure delivery of wider strategic objectives for Investor Services & M&GInvestigate and resolve operational discrepancies, escalating issues as appropriate.


- Maintain up-to-date process documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks within SLAs and provide coverage during team absences.


- Support onboarding of new investors and other ongoing projects as assigned.


- Ensure the timely completion of daily tasks within service level agreements by effectively planning and scheduling work.


- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and stakeholder queries, ensuring timely resolution and communication.


- Collaborate with UK stakeholders, third-party administrators and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.


- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and documentation updates to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.


- Support project delivery and change management initiatives, including onboarding of new investors and charity statement processes.


Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification:


Must-Have Skills:


- Deep understanding of transfer agency operations and fund servicing.


- Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven processes with accuracy.


- Hands on experience in placing trades on- Trading systems like EMX etc.


- Exposure on approving Pay flows, Trades etc.


- Expert in Cash & Position reconciliations.


- Post journals on the internal and external systems.


- Leadership and team management capabilities.


- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Proficiency in MS Excel , User Define Applications and familiarity with fund accounting systems.


Experience:


8-10 years of experience in financial services. Min 5 years of experience in Transfer Agency with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.


Educational Qualification:


- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA Finance) are a plus.


- Relevant IOC or Investment Management qualification / Certification would be desirable.
