M&G Global Services - Senior Analyst - Private Markets Monitoring

- Provide support to the Private Markets team which aims to maintain systems that can assimilate both structure and unstructured data from various sources.

- Source performance data for portfolio companies from investor reports and update and maintain proprietary database with latest performance metrics for further analysis.

- Perform data quality checks on investments across asset classes and analyse key performance parameters for monitoring.

- Design, update and develop reports on Power BI across investments to provide insights to the fund managers for portfolio monitoring.

- Interact with onshore analysts to ensure information is available and help in preparation of credit documentation for investment credit committees for semi-annual and annual reviews.

- Coordinate with the development team for enhancing internal tools/database and conduct testing, as required.

- Respond to straightforward technical queries

- Deliver high quality agreed tasks to the stakeholder on a timely basis

- Manage deliverables with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data.

- Good knowledge of private credit including the corporate financial structures, valuation methodologies, debt & equity structures and rating methodologies.

- Good knowledge of financial statements/ratio analysis/accounting principles and concepts and operations/database maintenance (preferably in private assets.)

- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI.

- Understanding of VBA Macros & Python and proficiency with Bloomberg would be preferred.

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high quality work

- Quick learner with an ability to work in an unstructured environment

- Good communication & interpersonal skills. Should have the ability to collaborate in a team setting as well as work independently, with a proactive approach & working under strict deadlines.
