Managing Director - Manufacturing

Job description:

As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the production centre and ensuring operational efficiency in the manufacturing of high variety and high volume pumps. The role also involves managing foreign trade operations, as the company exports 99% of its production outside India. In addition, you will work closely with the head office to execute the company's global strategy and sales initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in operations management, international trade, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the overall operations of the company's production centre in India, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and adherence to quality standards.

2. Collaborate with the head office to implement the company's global strategy and sales plans, aligning operations with the company's objectives.

3. Manage foreign trade operations, including export processes, compliance with international trade regulations, and coordination with logistics partners.

4. Lead and mentor a diverse team of employees, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

5. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

6. Ensure effective supply chain management, including procurement, inventory control, and vendor management, to support uninterrupted production and timely delivery.

7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, government authorities, and industry associations.
