Managing Director/Executive Director - Investment Banking - Chemicals & Specialty Chemicals Sector

Role Objective:

To lead the Chemicals & Specialty Chemicals vertical within the Investment Banking division, with full ownership of revenue origination, client relationships, and execution across M&A and capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own Chemicals sector coverage and revenue targets

- Originate and close domestic and cross-border M&A mandates

- Lead capital raising (PE, strategic stake sales, QIP, pre-IPO)

- Build strong promoter and global strategic buyer relationships

- Leverage China+1 and global supply chain shifts to create deal opportunities

- Lead valuation, structuring, and Board-level negotiations

- Mentor and scale the sector team

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- MBA from IIM / Tier I institute preferred

- 15+ years in Investment Banking / Corporate Finance

- Strong Chemicals / Manufacturing deal track record

- Demonstrated origination capability

- Cross-border M&A exposure preferred
