Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Managing Director to lead our automotive operations in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in the automotive sector, and the ability to drive organizational growth while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

- Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives within the automotive domain.

2. Operational Oversight:

- Ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including production, supply chain, and quality management.

- Oversee compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.

3. Financial Management:

- Manage the P&L, ensuring profitability and sustainable financial growth.

- Develop budgets and financial forecasts to support business plans.

4. Market Expansion and Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new market opportunities in both domestic and international markets.

- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and government bodies.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for future leaders.

6. Innovation and Technology Integration:

- Champion the adoption of advanced automotive technologies and trends, including EVs, connected cars, and smart manufacturing.

- Collaborate with R&D teams to drive product innovation.

7. Customer Focus:

- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and services.

- Implement customer feedback systems to enhance the user experience.

Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

- 15+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and business growth.
