Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Managing Director to lead and expand our operations in Bangalore and southern India. This is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing strategic advisory engagements, driving business growth, and strengthening client relationships across government and corporate sectors. The role demands deep expertise in consulting, digital transformation, and stakeholder management, paired with a proven track record of delivering high-impact programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Represent and grow Primus' footprint in Bangalore and the southern region through strategic engagements and partnerships.

- Develop and drive the vision for regional growth and positioning.

Consulting Delivery:

- Lead the design and execution of complex, multi-stakeholder consulting programs across digital transformation, policy reform, and technology enablement.

- Ensure delivery excellence and measurable client outcomes.

Client Engagement:

- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders including CXOs, government officials, and department heads.

- Provide thought leadership on digital strategy, modernization, and enterprise transformation.

Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new consulting opportunities in both public and private sectors.

- Lead proposal development, negotiations, and client presentations.

- Build and sustain long-term relationships that result in repeat business and strategic engagements.

Thought Leadership:

- Contribute to the firm's visibility and intellectual capital through whitepapers, industry events, and published insights.

- Champion emerging technologies and trends relevant to clients and industries.

Team Leadership:

- Build and lead high-performing consulting teams.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

- Mentor and develop future leaders within the firm.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

- Minimum 18 years of total professional experience, including 10+ years in consulting roles focused on digital, IT strategy, or enterprise transformation.

- Prior experience in Tier-1 consulting firms or managing large-scale transformation programs is highly desirable.

- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships across public and private sector clients.

- Familiarity with public sector workings including government departments, state agencies, and urban local bodies is essential.

Technical & Domain Expertise:

- Strong knowledge of digital platforms and emerging technologies such as Cloud, AI/ML, Big Data, ERP, etc.

- End-to-end understanding of the consulting lifecycle-from problem definition to strategy execution.

Leadership & Business Acumen:

- Demonstrated success in building and growing consulting businesses.

- Strong commercial orientation with experience in managing P&L, client delivery, and team performance.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.

- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) from a reputed institution is preferred.
