Role Overview:

As Manager / Sr Manager - Term Finance, you will be instrumental in securing and managing long-term debt financing for the organization. Your day-to-day activities will involve financial modeling, credit appraisal, loan management, and maintaining strong relationships with banks and financial institutions. You will collaborate closely with the FP&A team, treasury, and senior management to ensure optimal capital structure and funding strategies. Your work will directly impact the company's ability to fund strategic initiatives, drive growth, and maintain financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end process of long-term debt raising, including identifying funding needs, preparing information memorandums, and negotiating terms with lenders.

- Conduct thorough credit appraisal of projects and business proposals to assess financial viability and risk.

- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast funding requirements, analyze debt capacity, and evaluate financing options.

- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and credit rating agencies to ensure favorable terms and maintain strong credit ratings.

- Oversee loan management activities, including tracking covenants, ensuring timely repayments, and managing documentation.

- Collaborate with the FP&A team to integrate debt financing into the overall financial planning and forecasting process.

- Support trade finance activities, including structuring and negotiating trade finance facilities.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability in corporate finance, with a strong understanding of debt markets, financial modeling, and credit appraisal techniques.

- Proven experience in long-term debt raising, loan management, and trade finance.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed recommendations.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
