The Manager / Senior Manager - Domestic Sales will be responsible to lead and growing the business in India, with full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L).
The ideal candidate will be a self-driven Individual Contributor with a strong background in B2B sales-preferably in rubber, elastic products, textile narrow fabrics, or related industries.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete P&L for the Indian market and/or other SAARC regions, ensuring business growth and profitability.
- Expand the business by identifying new markets, segments, and opportunities. Leverage existing and new products
- Build, nurture, and retain existing strategic customer relationships; handle key brands and accounts to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Full-cycle sales responsibilities, including forecasting, reporting, invoicing, payment recovery, negotiation, deal closure, and delivery management.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local laws, industry standards, and company policies; coordinate with HQ for any deviations or special requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams at headquarters (India)
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and business reports on a monthly and annual basis. Track KPIs and take proactive measures to achieve targets.
- Maintain a close watch on industry trends, attend relevant symposiums and exhibitions, and represent the company at industry forums.
- Travel extensively across the region (at least 70% of the time).
Key Requirements :
- Minimum 15 years of progressive B2B sales experience, with a strong record of business development and key account management.
- Background in rubber elastic products, textile narrow fabrics, or related sectors strongly preferred.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in engineering, an MBA, or a relevant business qualification is asignificant advantage.
