
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage US audit engagements for technology industry clients from planning through completion.
- Review financial statements and audit documentation to ensure compliance with US GAAP, GAAS, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess business processes, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
- Identify audit risks and develop appropriate audit strategies and procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit team members.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required information and resolve audit-related issues.
- Prepare and present audit findings, recommendations, and reports to management.
- Ensure timely completion of engagements while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with changes in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and technology industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex accounting and audit matters.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SOX, and audit methodologies.
- Experience auditing technology companies, SaaS businesses, software firms, or IT-enabled organizations.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, internal controls testing, and financial statement audits.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition, software capitalization, and technology industry accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships effectively.
- Experience using audit tools and data analytics techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in US Audit with significant exposure to Technology Audit engagements.
