Role Summary:
- The Transition & Transformation Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering seamless transitions of business processes, systems, or services from current state to target operating models.
- This role ensures all transition activities are executed efficiently, with minimal disruption, and aligned with organizational objectives for quality, cost, and timelines. The individual will also drive continuous transformation initiatives aimed at improving process efficiency, automation, and scalability
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Transition & Transformation Management
- Lead end-to-end transition of business processes, functions, from one location, system, or vendor to another.
- Develop and manage detailed transition plans, governance models, and risk registers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful knowledge transfer, documentation, and service readiness.
- Track progress against transition milestones and report status to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth handover to operations post-transition with established SLAs and KPIs.
2. Transformation Initiatives
- Identify and drive process optimization, automation, and standardization opportunities.
- Collaborate with functional leads and technology teams to implement transformation solutions.
- Support digital transformation projects.
- Monitor benefits realization and track improvement metrics post-implementation.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for transition and transformation programs.
- Engage with business heads, IT, finance, HR, and external partners to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and program updates for leadership reviews.
4. Risk & Compliance
- Identify transition risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to compliance and security standards.
- Establish governance frameworks and change control mechanisms.
Preferred Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance / Equivalent professional qualification.
- 10-15 years of experience in Finance Shared Services, Transition Management, and Transformation roles.
- Proven track record in leading multi-country finance transitions and large-scale transformation programs.
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma, process re-engineering, or digital transformation projects
- Strong understanding of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, Treasury, FP&A, etc.) and technology enablers (ERP, RPA, AI/ML, Workflow tools).
- Excellent stakeholder management, program management, and change management skills.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and drive collaboration across geographies.
