Transfer Pricing Delivery & Technical Expertise

- Lead TP engagements by analyzing business information, applying financial and economic principles, and structuring approaches tailored to client needs.

- Oversee preparation of global/ India TP documentation, benchmarking analyses, planning structures, and technical deliverables.

- Assist senior leadership in audit defence, drafting submissions, and participating in Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs).

- Maintain a strong understanding of Indian TP regulations, OECD guidelines, judicial precedents, and evolving TP policies.

Client Management & Consulting Excellence

- Deliver high-quality, timely, and responsive services across engagements.

- Serve as a point of contact for key clients, ensuring smooth communication and effective issue resolution.

- Support business development initiatives, including proposal writing, presentations, and identifying opportunities.

Engagement Management & Economics

- Manage project staffing, monitor engagement timelines, and ensure efficient resource allocation.

- Track engagement economics-fees, budgets, variances-and communicate status updates to senior stakeholders.

- Ensure adherence to internal methodologies, documentation standards, and risk management protocols.

People Leadership & Team Development

- Supervise, mentor, and coach junior team members to enhance technical and professional skills.

- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to structured and regular feedback discussions.

- Lead and support people initiatives, including recruitment, retention, and training of TP professionals.

- Promote a collaborative team culture and encourage cross-functional communication with other service lines.

Quality, Compliance & Internal Contribution

- Uphold the firm's standards of quality, ensuring error-free deliverables and robust technical work.

- Follow the firm's code of ethics, internal policies, and practice protocols consistently.

- Drive knowledge sharing, contribute to internal technical sessions, and maintain an ongoing learning agenda.

- Take ownership of your schedule and proactively ensure achievement of chargeability targets.

Technical Skills

- Deep understanding of Income Tax Act, TP regulations, and OECD guidelines.

- Strong financial analysis, economic modelling, and research capabilities.

- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and TP databases (as applicable).

Education

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance/Economics) from a recognised institution.

In the case of an MBA, then 6 - 8 years of relevant experience

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of client-facing Transfer Pricing consulting experience in India.

- Strong background in professional services/consulting environments is preferred.

- Hands-on experience in TP documentation, benchmarking, assessments, litigation, and planning assignments.
