Manager - Transaction Advisory/Deals - M&A/Fund - Investment Banking Team - Consulting Firm

Seeking experienced M&A, deal advisory professional with 4-7 years of experience working on M&A, fund raise transactions in India market. The idle candidate should have a significant part of the experience within at-least 1 of the focused sectors - IT services, Technology, Consumer, Pharma/Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the leadership team in deal sourcing & GTM strategy

- Review & finalize deal collaterals including IM & other marketing materials

- Review & finalize the financial model & valuation assessment

- Project manage the end-to-end deal execution including, transaction structuring, negotiation, facilitation of DD process, review of definitive agreements & deal closure

- Train & coach the junior execution team in end to end process

Desired Candidate Profile:

- A chartered accountant with 4-7 years of prior experience in M&A/deal advisory, as part of the investment banking team within a professional services firm (big 4, boutique investment banks).

- Hands on experience of working on multiple mandates (at-least 5-8 mandates) across the preferred sectors.

- Strong skills in building financial models & preparing well-structured marketing collaterals.

- In-depth understanding of the preferred sectors (at-least 2 sectors). Should have hands on experience & knowledge of the key performance indicators within the relevant sector.

- Practical experience of deal closures.

- Sound experience with deal identification & GTM

- Strong communication & inter-personal skills

Qualification: Qualified CA/MBA in Finance
