The Retail & Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving brand visibility, consumer engagement, and sell-through across mono-brand and multi-brand retail environments.
This role will work closely with internal teams, subsidiaries, and trade partners to plan and execute impactful retail activations, in-store campaigns, and seasonal trade initiatives aligned with global brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail & Trade Marketing Strategy:
- Partner with regional and subsidiary teams to define retail objectives, seasonal initiatives, and country-specific campaigns in line with global brand strategy.
- Translate global retail marketing plans into localized execution strategies to maximize market impact.
- Own the annual retail & trade marketing calendar, budgets, and execution roadmap.
Retail Activations & In-Store Execution:
- Plan, execute, and monitor retail activations across malls, high-street stores, and shopping environments to drive footfall, engagement, and conversion.
- Ensure world-class in-store campaign execution across retail stores (mono-brand and multi-brand) in line with global visual merchandising and branding guidelines.
- Coordinate with VM, sales, and operations teams to ensure timely deployment of POSM, fixtures, and activation tools.
- Track execution quality and consistency across regions through store visits and audits.
Campaign Management:
- Lead end-to-end execution of seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives at retail level.
- Develop detailed activation plans, timelines, and country-specific budgets; monitor spend vs.
ROI.
- Ensure seamless alignment between retail marketing, digital, and brand campaigns.
Trade Marketing & Channel Support:
- Develop trade communication materials (sell-in decks, POS materials, toolkits) that enhance brand recognition and consumer preference in multi-brand retail environments.
- Work closely with channel partners to improve shelf visibility, brand blocking, and in-store storytelling.
- Support sales teams with trade marketing inputs to drive distribution, sell-through, and productivity.
Trade Events & Seasonal Showcases:
- Plan and manage seasonal trade events and trade shows for channel partners, distributors, and key accounts.
- Own end-to-end execution of trade events including concept, booth design, product presentation, communication materials, and logistics.
- Ensure strong product storytelling and brand impact during trade events.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management:
- Collaborate with global marketing, brand, VM, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and production partners to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Track effectiveness of retail and trade marketing initiatives through KPIs such as footfall, sell-through, visibility scores, and ROI.
- Prepare post-campaign and post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements
