Role: Total Rewards Specialist

Designation: Manager

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate, design, and administer competitive compensation structures, incentive programs, and employee benefits to align with organizational goals and employee expectations.

- Conduct regular market surveys and benchmarking exercises to ensure our offerings remain competitive, including industry standards and regulatory compliance.

- Support the deployment of performance management strategies through appropriate alignment of rewards programs and collaborate in the associated compensation revision process.

- Utilize HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs, track trends, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.

- Plan effective communication of Total Rewards programs to employees and ensure understanding and transparency, serving as a key point of contact for queries on compensation and benefits.

- Ensure that all Total Rewards programs comply with local laws, tax regulations, and industry best practices, staying updated on changes in labour laws and taxation policies in India.

- Demonstrate agility in handling changing priorities and evolving business needs, and drive initiatives that balance organizational goals with employee centricity.

- Work closely with HRBP, CoE, business team and leadership to align compensation strategies with business objectives.

- Engage with and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Required Functional Skills:

- Sound knowledge of designing competitive and compliant compensation structures, including base salary, bonuses, incentives, and non-monetary benefits.

- Proficiency in analysing data, trends, generating insights, and managing compensation and rewards programs.

- Understanding of Indian labour laws, taxation, and benefits-related compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).

- Familiarity with conducting salary surveys, benchmarking, and interpreting industry compensation trends within the Indian market.

- Experience in administering incentive programs, linking rewards to organizational goals and compensation revision processes.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

- Ability to think critically, anticipate challenges, and proactively propose solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Precision in managing compensation data and ensuring accuracy in reporting, policy compliance, and program implementation.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.

- Self-starter with a keen sense of ownership, able to manage multiple initiatives and deliver results in line with business goals.

- Demonstrates a strong focus on employee engagement and satisfaction while balancing organizational needs.

Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Human Resources.

- 5-8 years of experience in Total Rewards/Compensation & Benefits, where consulting experience is a plus.
