Job Description: Job Title: Team/Department Manager - TQM Purpose : To facilitate and implement TQM practices at Dahej to achieve approach, methods & excellence. To support departments for Customer, IMS & Statutory audits. Challenges of the role: - Deployment of Breakthrough & Daily Management in all functions for efficiency improvement & consistent results. - With continuous expansion of site and new hiring of Manpower, Training to employees on TQM way of working and approach to integrate them with existing TQM culture. - Facilitate and review for standard IMS practices and revisions as per the new changes in standards. Decision Making Boundaries : - To suggest modification in system and procedures for smooth and efficient plant operations Design and conduct trainings on different TQM training modules Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities : - Accountabilities Responsibilities Control Point - Improvement of processes in Q,C,D,S,M areas - Apply appropriate tools and methods (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma / PSP) for any given situation, and guarantee the correct use - Extend the standardized use of these tools and methods across the organization. - Review of Themes and incorporation of Jury comments in Themes Convention projects 1.0) No. of PSP Certifications - No. of themes selected for final round - Spread a culture of continuous improvement, supported with strong communication and a local training program reaching the entire target population with tailor made content. Provide coaching, mentoring and training to employees on all levels 1.1) To train employees on various principles and tools of TQM - To train and provide guidance on Problem Solving techniques - To upgrade level of operators through evaluating their skills and knowledge based on skill matrix Training man- hours Skill Evaluation Index: - Compliance to TQM roadmap - Adhere & facilitate to its progress. - Audit compliance from different customer - Timely implementation of Annual Planning Cycle - Support in implementing annual planning cycle by deployment of unit level directions and control points to various processes and down to operating level - To coordinate the goal sheet preparation for all employees - To track the themes completion for all the employees - Timely preparation of goal sheets of all employees completion of themes - Ensure certification of model machines to step 3 of autonomous maintenance as per the target. - Ensure Kaizen / employee as per the target and good 5S across site - Ensure compliance to Process Control (Quality Table, QCPC, QA Map and Control Charts) as per SOP - Developing Machine Models - Kaizen / person / year 5S score of TIE groups - Implementing systems under IMS comprising of ISO 9001, ISO 45001,ISO 14001 - Coordinate for implementation of Integrated Management System (IMS) - Facilitate periodic internal audits - Timely execution of Internal Audits - Schedule Adherence of Audits plan vs actual - Implementing systems under Customer Audits like Wal-Mart, AutoZone etc. and other Pharma customers - Coordinate for implementation of customer findings - Facilitate periodic internal audits and Timely completion of customer audit Working Relationships : - Interaction Work Purpose Frequency - CM - TQM Daily operational/Management issues Daily - VP - TQM / Site Head-Dahej Progress of TQM at the site and way forward Regularly - All Dept.
