Experience: 12 - 17 Years
Location : Remote ( India)
- Manager - Title Insurance Services to lead and oversee title production operations across Title Search, Title Examination, Title Commitment Preparation, Title Curative/Resolution, and Title Policy Production, with a strong focus on the Default/REO Title Insurance space.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing end-to-end title production operations, a strong understanding of title insurance requirements and workflows, and proven ability to lead production teams while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, turnaround time, and client service. Experience supporting Default, Foreclosure, REO, and Post-Foreclosure title transactions is highly preferred.

- Ensure title products are delivered within established turnaround time, quality, and productivity standards.
- Establish and monitor production metrics, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure processes comply with applicable title insurance requirements, client guidelines, state-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
2. Default / REO Title Operations
- Develop a strong understanding of title issues commonly encountered in default transactions, including liens, judgments, foreclosure-related documents, bankruptcy, probate, taxes, municipal liens, unreleased mortgages, vesting issues, and other defects.
- Oversee resolution of complex title defects and ensure timely clearance of requirements and exceptions.
- Partner with foreclosure, REO, settlement, and client teams to resolve title-related issues impacting transaction timelines.
3. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of title examiners, searchers, processors, curative specialists, and policy production resources.
- Define individual and team productivity and quality expectations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Develop cross-training and succession plans to build a scalable and flexible production organization.
- Manage staffing capacity in line with volumes, client requirements, and business growth.
4. Quality & Risk Management
- Establish robust quality control processes across title search, examination, commitment, curative, and policy production.
- Monitor error trends and implement root-cause corrective actions.
- Ensure appropriate escalation and resolution of complex or high-risk title issues.
- Partner with underwriting and legal resources when required to resolve difficult or non-standard title matters.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for title decisions and curative actions.
5. Technology & Process Improvement
- Leverage title production platforms and technology to improve productivity, quality, and scalability.
- Familiarity with ResWare or similar title production platforms is preferred.
- Experience working with title plants, electronic land records, title search systems, and workflow/production platforms is highly desirable.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Participate in technology implementations, system enhancements, integrations, and process redesign initiatives.
- Use operational data and reporting to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, quality, productivity, and turnaround times across Title Production processes.
- Strong technology acumen with experience driving digital transformation initiatives, evaluating new tools, and leading adoption of workflow automation, intelligent document processing, and data-driven operational solutions.
6. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as an operational point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on title production matters.
- Collaborate closely with Title Settlement Operations, Underwriting, Compliance, Sales, and Technology teams.
- Partner with clients to understand production requirements, service-level expectations, quality standards, and escalation procedures.
- Lead operational discussions related to performance, capacity, quality, and improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with title agents, attorneys, foreclosure firms, lenders, servicers, and other stakeholders as applicable.
7. Business Growth & Scalability
- Support new client onboarding and expansion of existing title services.
- Develop scalable operating models to support increasing transaction volumes.
- Participate in solution design, process mapping, staffing models, and operational readiness for new business opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery while optimizing operating costs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree/PG or equivalent professional experience.
- 10-12+ years of experience in the Title Insurance industry, with significant experience in title production operations.
- Proven management experience leading title search, examination, commitment, curative, and/or policy production teams.
- Strong experience in Default, Foreclosure, REO, or Default Title operations.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. title insurance lifecycle and title production processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing production teams against quality, productivity, SLA/TAT, and cost metrics.
- Strong understanding of title defects, curative requirements, and resolution processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder- management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with title plants and county land records.
- Experience supporting national or multi-state title operations.
- Familiarity with state-specific title requirements and underwriting guidelines.
- Experience working with foreclosure attorneys, mortgage servicers, REO clients, or default servicing organizations.
- Experience with workflow automation, process transformation, and technology- enabled title production.
- Title insurance-related certifications or industry designations are a plus.
