Manager - Tendering & Contracts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Contract & Tendering Manager to lead tendering and contract management for Railway and Metro EPC Projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of relevant experience and strong expertise in BOQ tendering, contracts & claims management, and negotiations, with a thorough understanding of GCC/FIDIC conditions. This is a critical role with the responsibility to manage the full tendering lifecycle within 30 days per tender.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders for Railway & Metro EPC projects.

- Conduct detailed BOQ analysis, quantity take-offs, and pricing strategies.

- Ensure compliance with GCC, FIDIC, and other relevant contractual guidelines.

- Evaluate tender documents, scope of work, and identify commercial and contractual risks.

- Draft, review, and negotiate contractual terms and claims with clients and subcontractors.

- Coordinate with estimation, design, procurement, and legal teams to gather inputs and align on tender strategies.

- Maintain updated knowledge of relevant government tender portals, circulars, and amendments.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

- Ensure timely submission of bids and proposals-within 30 days maximum per tender cycle.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong expertise in contracts & claims management specific to infrastructure projects.

- In-depth knowledge of GCC / FIDIC contract conditions.

- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi (both verbal and written).

- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Experience: 8 to 12 years of proven experience in Railway / Metro EPC projects tendering and contract management.

Preferred Candidate:

- Candidates with prior experience in both EPC and government/BOQ-based tendering.

- Familiarity with Indian railway/metro tendering procedures and regulatory requirements.
