Manager - Technical - Paint Manufacturing Plant

Description:

- The purpose of this role is to manage the development of new products/colors, modification of existing products for cost reduction, performance optimization, process standardization etc. in accordance with customer requirements to ensure customer satisfaction with the product.

- This Ensure processes & systems are followed by the team during product development

- Localization technologies to make it suitable for local customers

- Guide the team to develop / modify products meeting customer's requirement of cost and quality

- Provide technical support in standardizing products in paint manufacturing plant

- Provide technical support to OEM customers, handle customer complaints and should be able to conduct technical reviews with respect to customers

- Ensure implementation of TS 16949 and quality systems

- Follow secure launch process for new product introduction on customer line

- Provide support to various functions such as marketing for techno commercial negotiations, evaluating alternate materials for cost / performance / rationalization etc as & when required

- Implement 5S and safe lab work practices and maintain clean and hygienic work place in lab

- Provide support to various functions on related topics as and when required

- Connect across Technology leaders at Segment and Regional leaders.
