Manager - Technical Accounting

Responsibilities :

- Technical Accounting: Manage the technical accounting processes for equity, debt, deferred compensation, bonus, vacation, and other compensation areas. Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.

- Create Technical accounitng memos and support GAAP compliance for extra audinory events/

- Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all accounting treatments adhere to relevant standards (US GAAP) and internal controls. Evaluate the impact of new accounting standards and regulations on compensation transactions and implement necessary adjustments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with other departments to ensure exchange of info required for compliance with A'c standandrds is seamless Audit & Process Improvement: Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in technical accounting practices.

Qualifications:

- Professional certification (CPA, CA) is preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of technical accounting experience, specifically handling equity, debt, deferred compensation, bonus, vacation, and other compensation elements.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP or IFRS) as they apply to complex compensation arrangements. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing technical journal entries and financial reconciliations.

- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Preferred experience in the IT/software industry or a Big Four accounting environment. Proficiency in financial systems (such as NetSuite, Workday, or similar) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
