Manager - Taxation
Company:
A US-based specialty Chemicals manufacturer with GCC in India.
Experience:
10+ years

GCC / Global Shared Services / MNC environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support US taxation activities end-to-end, including federal and State tax-related matters.
- Support tax compliance, tax reporting, tax provision and tax-related analysis.
- Work closely with US finance and tax teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax requirements.
- Provide support on international tax and cross-border transactions.
- Work on Transfer Pricing matters including documentation, intercompany transactions, benchmarking and coordination with external advisors, as applicable.
- Support intercompany tax matters and tax policy implementation across entities.
- Coordinate with Big 4 / external tax advisors and respond to tax queries and information requests.
- Identify tax risks, discrepancies and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
- Support tax audits, assessments and regulatory queries as required.
- Prepare management reports and communicate tax matters clearly to US stakeholders.
- Stay updated on relevant changes in US tax regulations and international tax requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in taxation, preferably with strong exposure to US Taxation.
- Experience in US Federal and/or State taxation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of international tax and Transfer Pricing.
- Experience working with US-based stakeholders or global finance/tax teams.
- Prior experience in a GCC, Global Shared Services, captive or multinational organization is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage deliverables and work effectively as an Individual Contributor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with US time zones / flexible working hours when required.
- Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills; exposure to ERP/tax technology platforms is preferred.
- CA / CPA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
