Tax Manager - Direct Tax ( Litigation is must)

Your key responsibilities:

Technical Excellence:

- Assisting Partners and Directors in representation in direct-tax appeal matters before CIT(A), DRP and ITAT.

- Undertake preparation of legal documents, including petitions, appeals, and written submissions to tax authorities and appellate tribunals with help of the juniors.

- Co-ordinate and collaborate with clients to understand the tax positions and provide strategic legal advice on direct tax matters.

- Stay updated on changes in direct tax laws, regulations, and judicial precedents that may impact litigation strategies.

- Liaise with external counsel and experts as necessary for complex tax matters.

Skills and attributes:

Qualification: A Qualified Chartered Accountant

Experience:

- Post qualification experience of atleast 4 years in Direct-tax, including transfer-pricing and international taxation

- Litigation experience would be an added advantage
