Manager - Taxation - Direct & Indirect Tax

We are seeking a seasoned Manager of Taxation to spearhead our Direct and Indirect tax functions in Mumbai. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end tax compliance framework, ensuring the organization remains audit-ready and fiscally optimized.

You will collaborate closely with internal finance teams, external consultants, and regulatory authorities to navigate complex tax landscapes. By maintaining rigorous compliance standards and identifying tax-saving opportunities, you will directly influence the company's bottom line and ensure seamless operational continuity across all business units.

Key Requirements:

- Qualification: CA qualified

- Experience: Preferably 4 - 7 years PQE (overall requirement around 4 - 8 years)

- Age: Maximum 31 years

- Strong hands-on experience in Direct Tax + GST

- Direct Tax: Corporate Income Tax, TDS, advance tax, tax provisions/deferred tax, tax audits, assessments/notices and litigation support

- GST/Indirect Tax: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, GST registrations, GSTR-2B/ITC reconciliation, GST audits/assessments and compliance

- Should have independently handled/prepared and filed tax returns, rather than only coordinating with consultants

- Experience with books-to-tax reconciliations, ERP and Advanced Excel

- Industry preference: Hospitality, F&B, Retail, Consumer or other multi-entity/multi-state businesses

- Candidates should be comfortable working from Mumbai

- Notice period: Immediate to 30 days preferred
