Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. GST Compliance
- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including preparing and filing monthly GST returns.
- Perform GST 2B reconciliations and address any discrepancies effectively.
Income Tax Compliance
- Handle TDS return filings and Form 61A submissions.
- Prepare and file income tax returns for the organization.
- Manage lower withholding tax certificate applications and oversee Form 15CA/CB assessments and filings.
Tax Audits and Assessments
- Manage tax audits and assessments, ensuring timely resolution of queries.
- Liaise with tax authorities and consultants to address issues and clarify compliance requirements.
Tax Due Diligence
- Conduct and manage tax due diligence processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations for risk mitigation based on findings.
Advisory & Updates
- Stay updated on changes in GST and income tax laws, providing actionable advice to management.
- Proactively identify tax optimization opportunities and mitigate risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: CA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience:
- 23 years of experience in taxation, with a strong focus on GST and income tax compliance.
- Hands-on experience in tax assessments, audits, and due diligence.
Industry Preference: NBFC, Fintech, or a CA firm.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in GST and income tax laws, compliance, and filings.
