Job Profile : - Manage all indirect Tax matters including Sales Tax, VAT, GST, Service tax, Central Excise, and Customs. Prepare and maintain a complete and accurate tax calendar, reviewing tax returns and remittance of estimated tax payments ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations. - The candidate will be responsible for managing responsibly for ensuring compliance relating to Indirect Tax - GST and Direct tax (including transfer pricing). In addition, the candidate may also be required to support the functional head in advising on various tax matters impacting business operations including tax planning for optimizing efficiency and accuracy. - To ensure all the changes in Law, Acts, Notification, and circular under Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, VAT to be implemented as and when it comes - Handling Litigation in Indirect Tax. - Responsible for routine compliances on GST such as filing monthly returns, monitoring input credit, following-up with vendors (with an internal team) to ensure no loss of credit, etc including Transitional Credit. - Liasioning with local consultants to complete the past litigation with minimal business impact on VAT/Service Tax/ Excise by providing data, discussing tax positions with functional head - Monitor and ensure that compliances in respect of corporate-tax returns, transfer pricing reports, tax certifications, withholding tax returns, etc. are completed within the prescribed statutory timelines. - Supporting in the completion of past litigation including collating details from various internal teams and analyzing the same from tax impact perspective.
