Key Responsibilities:

Chartering & Sales:

Negotiate and finalize contracts (charter parties) for the renting of tankers for specific routes and timeframes.

Market Analysis:

- Continuously research and analyze shipping markets to advise clients on trends, opportunities, and market conditions.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with both ship owners and charterers (clients).

Contract Management:

- Draft, negotiate, and finalize complex maritime contracts and charter agreements.

Networking:

- Develop and expand a network of contacts within the global maritime industry.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay informed about industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.

Business Development:

- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the client portfolio.

Essential Skills:

- Negotiation: Persuasively advocate for clients to secure favorable terms in deals.

- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the tanker shipping market, including pricing, supply, and demand dynamics.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and other parties.
