Description:

- Owns supplier acquisition/ management for the city

- Ensure product availability and selection depth.

- Identify, onboard, and develop suppliers aligned with category needs.

- Negotiate pricing, stock intensity, supply timelines to drive competitiveness.

- Monitor supplier performance (fulfilment rates, cancellations, quality issues).

- Resolve supply bottlenecks and work with demand lead for city balance.

- Build strong supplier relationships to drive loyalty and retention.

- Coordinate with demand generation strategy for the city to meet GMV, transacting buyer base and order targets.

- Monitor and drive customer base growth through engagements with ground team. Digital campaigns, field activations, strategic sourcing partnerships, and seller level BTL activities.


- Analyse buyer cohorts, buyer behaviour, order trends, and market insights to improve demand pipeline.

- Monitor daily metrics (Qty sold, daily active buyers, Assortment freshness, Price

competitiveness, Stock intensity) and take corrective action.

- Work closely with demand and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has:

- MBA/ bachelor's degree.

- Hands-on experience 8 - 10 years in sourcing/ seller management, preferably in B2B/B2C marketplaces.

- Regional language proficiency.

- Result oriented approach and a sense of independence, entrepreneurship and self-motivation.

- Well-developed interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across functions within the organization.

- Problem Solving and decision making attitude.

- Strong attitude to be a team player.
