Hiring for Supply Chain Manager for Retail Industry Location - Congo Africa Exp - 5 Years Benefits - (Accommodation +Food +Tickets +Visa ) Key Responsibilities: 1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning: - Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. - Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and demand patterns to optimize operations. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction. 2. Procurement & Vendor Management: - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals. - Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and reliability. - Evaluate supplier performance and develop contingency plans for risk mitigation. 3. Inventory & Demand Planning: - Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing costs. - Implement demand forecasting models to enhance procurement accuracy. - Reduce inventory waste through effective planning and control measures. 4. Logistics & Distribution Management: - Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely deliveries. - Optimize logistics routes and reduce freight costs. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and international trade laws. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain processes. - Coordinate with IT teams for ERP and supply chain management system improvements. - Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain efficiency. 6. Risk Management & Compliance: - Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and ethical sourcing practices. - Implement sustainability initiatives to promote eco-friendly supply chain practices. Qualifications & Requirements: - Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience: 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management. Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in supply chain software (SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems). - Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. - Leadership and cross-functional team management capabilities. - Ability to optimize costs while maintaining service excellence.
